7. Cooling the Bronze, Quenching the Shell
The bronze hardens within one or two minutes after pouring. But it should be cool before breaking away the shell. It can be left to cool on its own for about an hour or cooling can be accelerated by quenching. Quenching make it harder to devest (the next step).
